  • It all depends on the size of your gallery. It takes between 1-2 weeks to edit large galleries. All photos are edited and sent with a watermark for you to choose your final selections. Once you’ve chosen your final selections, your gallery will be released to you the same day. Your gallery will be available to download for two weeks after being uploaded.

  • You will be sent a link to Pic-Time. You will like the photos you want to keep and download them from there.

  • No.

  • All digital designs will be emailed with the requested attachment. If it is a large file, a link will be sent that will allow you to download it.

  • Design projects typically take a week depending on if all necessary assets are received on the start date. You will receive proofs to review and the final edits will be delivered in 24 hours.

  • Yes! The session price does not cover the additional cost of the studio/location entry fee or photography fee. That cost will be covered by the client.

Our Policy

At Hal By Design, each service is thoughtfully planned to ensure a seamless and elevated experience. The following policies are in place to protect both the client and the creative process.

A non-refundable deposit is required for all services at the time of booking. This deposit secures your date and time and is applied toward your total balance. All services must be paid in full prior to receiving any deliverables, including final photo galleries, design files, or website access. No deliverables will be released until payment is complete.

Clients are expected to arrive on time for scheduled photography sessions. If a client arrives more than 15 minutes late, the session will be canceled without refund. A no call, no show will result in forfeiture of all payments and the client will no longer be eligible to book services with Hal By Design in the future.

Photography sessions scheduled more than 30 miles outside of the Baton Rouge area will include a $50 travel fee, which will be added to the total cost. If a chosen session location requires a photography or permit fee, this fee is the responsibility of the client and must be paid prior to the session.

If a session has been paid in full and the client needs to cancel due to an emergency or within 24 hours of the scheduled session, the client will be permitted to reschedule at a later date, subject to availability. Deposits remain non-refundable.

All design projects include up to three revisions. Any revisions beyond the third will incur a $15 fee per revision. Revision requests must be submitted within one week of deliverables being sent. Requests made after this period will include an additional $15 fee.

When booking, clients must indicate whether they are comfortable with themselves, their child, or their session being used for marketing purposes, including social media and website content. Additionally, Hallie Russell may capture behind-the-scenes photos or videos during sessions for marketing use only. Clients who are uncomfortable with this may opt out by notifying Hal By Design in advance.

Hal By Design retains full copyright ownership of all images, designs, and creative works produced. Clients are granted permission to print images for personal use without requiring additional approval. Commercial usage requires written consent.

Clients acknowledge that Hallie Russell and Hal By Design are not liable for any injuries, bodily harm, or damages that may occur during a session. All clients and guests are expected to behave respectfully. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of services without refund.

By booking with Hal By Design, clients agree to all policies outlined above. These guidelines allow us to maintain a professional, respectful, and creatively focused environment for every client experience.
